i hope that the extended stay in outskirts will not wash my brain, so for now i just squint my eyes and superimpose my own latent images.

this is beautiful. very painterly. I see you have resorted to a rustic palette. this is what happens. you will be wearing green wellington boots and an oilskin jacket and plaid shirts and carrying binoculars and knowing the difference between birdcries next

fuzzytank: 20th Apr 2005 - 07:13 GMT

ah hahah nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

i swear that will never happen ;) if it does i will leave to you in my last will all the drawings i havent given away and you can catergorize my downfall thorugh imagery.

would make a lovely lil book...

elaine: 20th Apr 2005 - 07:18 GMT

hee hee hee! sorry, was that too hideous a picture I painted for you ?

elaine: 20th Apr 2005 - 08:24 GMT

BTW I take it you used 'real' marker pen here, did you ever use a programme called painter? it is very unpopular partly because it was never owned by adobe or macromedia, and partly because it is appallingly badly designed. However, it is really scribbly and painty, way beyond anything else, even the newer efforts illustrator have come up with which are pretty good, and you could, for instance, get the same effect as you just have digitally because it does blobby wet corners and see through overlaying scribbles and smears. worth a go

fuzzytank: 20th Apr 2005 - 11:59 GMT

aww the pens hit each line, ive tried plenty of digital processes.s..s but the nuances of the line are not the same.

when you have a formula generating the radius of your curves due to tangents of who know what it interperted... yes it might look similar, but my personal rules for each angle get destroyed.
if it came out just as predicted each time it would not hold intrest or be anything close to art.

but then thats just my definition...

roisin: 9th May 2005 - 14:31 GMT

wow. ive never seen anything like that before, but i like it alot. How do you do it tho? I mean, it looks kinda like you've markered something down and superimposed the image on top, but then there's also a see-through quality, like film, to the photo as well..Hmm, im not getting it..Oh well! It's cool.

Do It Big!

I have said before that I am not a lover of However, I couldn't resist taking pictures when I see one. Disappointed with the drive up north last weekend as all the leaves are gone, I went for a walk...
