Move It or Loose It 2: CONDEMNED PROPERTY

After sitting there with no change for at least 5 days since the Department of Sanitation tagged up
the car, I decided to continue this post and stop by for some flicks from a proper camera.

"I'm not sure they've made their point clear enough", I thought, sarcastically. Immediately, a voice
from behind me called out "Yo, ten dollars to take photos of my car, Peter!" and saw one of my neighbors
sitting on her stoop with some friends, laughing.

Though I got the story in lurid detail, it basically boils down to something like... a drunk driver hit
the parked car and they let her leave the scene to help her duck a DUI, which they regret, after the
insurance details she gave them turned out invalid. Damn. So now the car sits, and the waiting game
begins...

How helpful of the New York City Department of Sanitation to write the car's
Vehicle Identification Number (that is, VIN#1S4AS55M7R6492881) on its roof with permanent oil-stick.
This is a new addition since yesterday.

While having a laugh at the misuse of loose, one of the car-owner's friends started dancing around in
the street chanting "Get Loose, Baby... Get Loose!"
