Sidetracked in Harrison: Warehouses South of the PATH Station

A continuation of the Sidetracked in Harrison series, these photos cover several square blocks of
warehouses in various stages of use/decay. The particular structures pictured here line the south
side of the train track that runs almost directly east-to-west through Harrison, NJ

This is the southerly view of the buildings from the NYC-bound PATH platform

The gravel road runs along the raised rail-bed, and gaps in the wall indicate where rail-spurs used to
enter and exit the industrial park

Looking north across the tracks as a PATH train approaches

I passed a guy driving a gas-powered radio-controlled truck around. He showed me all the tricks
he could do with it

I love it when buildings are partially demolished, but design and paint elements from the old structure
remain on newly exposed walls

New Jersey Transit trains also run right nearby.

This lot, which until recently, had a dilapidated warehouse on it now seems to be in use as a
marshaling area for the stadium construction

It started sprinkling some, and definitely made for some odd skies and lighting

Because it's right across the street from the PATH station, this warehouse is currently being used for
monthly indoor parking for park-and-ride commuters

Despite the copious parking, there's a random scattering of abandoned cars, trucks and other vehicles

...and reserved parking in non-public areas that doesn't look like it's been used for years

Rose Ribbon, Morey Machine, Folber Plastic, B. F.S. Vinyl and Gibraltar Plastic
are some of the companies that are/were located in these structures
