Mid Atlantic States - Ports and Shipping Facilities

- Franny Wentzel - Sunday, May 3rd, 2009 : goo

[previous] :: [next]

From a collection of 'Picture Story Cards' put out by the Singer corporation's 'Society for Visual Education' division in 1966. Owing to the size of these I had to tkae them outside to photograph them so excuse the bits of reflectivity.

This third of three sets that I own is titled 'Mid Atlantic States - Ports and Shipping Facilities'.

Card one: A Trans-Atlantic Passenger Liner Port

Card two: Oil Tanker Port

You can blame card five for a lot of it... As part of the agreement to build the New Jersey was given the nod to build metro New York's container port.
