from Randall's Island to the Bronx across Bronx Kill, it may be the shortest inter-borough Bridge in NYC.
Yes, unlike the other bridges of New York City. But its still a bridge, right?

i was just contemplating crossing this very "bridge" about a week ago! i deemed it far too mossy and my footwear far too flimsy to withstand a a dry crossing.

That looks more a dam, weir or dyke than a bridge. Bridges over over, that goes through.

There is a small steel bridge that also crosses the Bronx Kills under the Hell Gate just a little up stream from this, it replace a wood bridge that was near the Bronx span of the Tribrough, eh the RFK.
