Well technically, I suppose it's an American hot sauce from California, but I think we all know it's actually Vietnamese. I bought it in a Chinese shop on Saint-Mathieu Avenue between Sainte-Catherine and de Maisonneuve. Most Chinese and Thai restaurants in Montreal have a bottle of this stuff sitting on the table.

I use it for everything from hot dogs and hamburgers to Jamaican beef patties.

mmm, sriracha is a fav of mine, too. i like the one they have in a jar, too, thats more like pepper paste with garlic. good stuff!
