i also wanted to note...

dont bother ordering from the menu. its ok, because you wont know what any of the stuff on the menu is anyway. ask the kind lady behind the counter to put together an assorted plate of whatever is fresh, in either vegetarian (recommended) or chicken form. they dont serve beef or pork, of course.

also, theyre byob. i suggest dipping into the small grocery store next door (accessible though the accordion-door that says "do not open!" inside the restaurant) and picking up a 24 ouncer of that 10% abv sri lankan imperial stout. the perfect accompaniment to the heavily savory food, and a damn good beer id never had before that cuts the spice nicely...
