Built in 1917, this now-abandoned factory once housed the chicle-processing operations for the
Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company
, aka Wrigley's Gum
You can see the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge from inside
It even features a nice view of Manhattan in the middle-distance, and Brooklyn to the right,
just across the Verrazano Narrows
Rosebank, Staten Island, New York City...

i didnt do anything to the photos but resize; it was so eerily overcast the whole time, and im glad to see some of that light (and some of that crazy, stagnant darkness too) made it through pretty accurately. id really like to check this place out in a rainstorm or after a big snowfall. who ever knew staten island had such cool shit laying around?
i shot 206 photos this entire weekend. one for every bone in the human body.

this is SO ironic! i live in rosebank and am obsessed with this community. rosebank has SO many great picture opportunities, i'm really glad someone noticed. i just picked up a lomo Diana to start capturing the area, this really is uplifting!

I just shot a set in the abandoned Babcock & Wilcox boiler factory in Montreal today. Damn place is graffiti heaven. Hopefully I'll have it on Citynoise within the week.
