Lots of bridges to explore in Hunters Point, Queens

This was next to the giant rail-bed near Dutch Kills

I heard that Newtown Creek is really polluted. What do you think?

There were a few of these solidly-constructed wooden plank-ways around a few of the bridges. Not
sure what purpose they would serve beyond giving easy, safe access to the general public.
