The troubles striking the current largest employer in LI City Queens sit ironically next to its history.
Small enough to be a neighborhood of NY City, but big enough to have space to leave its industrial past in place
in neglected layers underneath today's infrastructure.
Between forgotten
and ignored
urban forms rust...
all their parts as one, as the city of which it is a part.
