the scene looks desolate, even tho theres a building, and discarded toys... it seems almost somber, and sad, every item on the ground is either discarded, littered, or forgotten almost (the bicycle laying on the ground attests to this). it would make for a tragic b&w....

To me it looks like the fish and the mouse were cycling along while singing 'rain drops keep falling on my head'. They took the kerb too fast and crashed into the rubbish.
