After seeing all the stuff on here lately, i went googling and came across these photos taken in London:

The more I look at that photo supposedly from Ukraine, the more it looks like London's South Bank. hmmmm....

Jamie: 21st Apr 2005 - 15:50 GMT

Forgot to mention. That last one was taken inside Santa's Ghetto. Someone posted something about it on citynoise a while back actually.

Gaz: 22nd Apr 2005 - 12:47 GMT

It's definately not Ukranian. It's opposite the National Theatre in Waterloo, London. Proof here: www.friskygeek.com/mt/archives/2005/04/publication.html and here www.memetank.net/mt/archives/000268.html
Anyone know if it's still there or has it been buffed?

Peter: 22nd Apr 2005 - 14:10 GMT

i think that sometimes our foreign contributors fail to realize the difference between location (where the photo was taken) and location (where they live/are at the moment)... maybe that was the case here? cause everythign in that photo- including the english writing and artist- indicate that its in the uk, fo' shizzul.

And besides, you can't spell Ukraine without da U to tha' K

massive banksy piece

Grandfather Time: 5th Sep 2006 - 08:10 GMT

banksy stops the forward motion of thinking with his stencils.....it induces a euphoric feeling to see them......really compels you to rethink things related to his work, or search for your own meaning....
