Caesar: 10th Mar 2009 - 23:44 GMTThis has got to be film. You can tell by how timeless some of these look. Digital just doesn't do that. The focus on the cat photo and the foosball photo is tight. ^^ I agree with the above comments. If this is what you're posting, sign me up for more. CartLegger: 10th Mar 2009 - 23:48 GMTAnd I take back what I said about film sucking. It just sucks to wait to get your film developed at lousy drug stores. These look great! Mime: 11th Mar 2009 - 00:54 GMTThe shot with the two hanging chains caused an optical illusion as I was scrolling. When I stopped, they seemed to continue swaying. Graz: 11th Mar 2009 - 00:54 GMTJust chiming in to echo the previous sentiments. Great looking shots! Sean Hopkins: 11th Mar 2009 - 01:18 GMTThanks everybody, I truly appreciate these comments! They make a whole day of schlepping around reading meters AND snapping photos in some undesirable places extremely worthwhile. I'm really not sure what that is Pete, it's been on my route for awhile now, I'm supposed to read the water meter, which is inside the building. God knows why, look at the damn place. It's been like that for years. It's right at the corner of Vernon Blvd and Queens Plaza South, which is the general vicinity I was in today. These pictures started near Vernon Blvd and 44th ave, and spanned most of the area around there to 13th street and Queens Plaza South, which is where all the WallNuts artwork is. Sean Hopkins: 8th May 2009 - 19:56 GMTYo Pete I found out it's an old Terra Cotta factory from the 19th century. It's a landmark. It's actually in Forgotten NY. There's some amazing artwork carved into the side, my cellphone didnt do it justice so I mean to get a good shot of it next time I'm around it. Sanzay: 8th May 2009 - 20:41 GMTSean, thank you for bringing me back to my childhood, back to my forgotten dreams. It is touchy! /* yes, I am weird */ And I love the sense of humor in your snapshots.
