I think the young man says that these chaps are only interested in covering acerage. The difference between these chaps and real grafittios that if you tell the 'bombers' to do a real work of art they wouldn't know how because the cans they use have large unsophisticated nozzles. They just think it's all about writing your name all over the place, which it isn't unless there is a skillful rivalry about how many places and unusual and risky locations, and he hasn't seen any evidence of that, just a lot of rubbish. That seems to be the gist, as far as I am able to understand

This was in London in 1997.
BTW Re : Delata_!'s use of language, and in relation to Marc's Hack the city article - I am liking his hacking of the English language in particular the spelling of the word 'forwth' which I don't think I have seen before, is it common use or did you make it up?

Looks like the 2 types of cameras to be used seem rather ineffective aside from spooking a few people. According to the website, the cams don't lead to any prosecution. Doesn't look like much was accomplished with this program either, the city already keeps things buffed within a few days and the areas this waste of money cleans up are already trashed. I think the graffiti kept me from noticing that the buildings are ancient, unkept, and falling apart.

Great work City of Dallas, re-paint the ghetto's and delude us into thinking crime is reduced.
