So i stumbled upon this page today and decided that this is what I have been looking for in a while. Of course there are plenty of websites out there that allow you to share and post pictures and forums and articles but I've noticed that this is more city oriented. I've enjoyed looking at some of Peter's pictures and posts as I also have wandered the streets of Brooklyn in search of graffiti, street art and anything interesing.
Anyway, I will have more street posts soon. As for now, in spirit of the cold weather (at least here in new york city), this is Coney Island covered in snow.

i was building a raft..
later that day i got a cold. and my lense jammed and broke and is unrepairable now. the replacement thankfully will not cost too much. i am devastated though. three weeks will go by without being documented.

wow, awesome! just today, while walking around this, we were discussing seeing the beach in the snow. looks like there was a lot more at coney island than at barren island. this reminds me that i need to go take a walk around what was astroland, and get some photos before it completely disappears.
is that an english i see in the 7th photo? haha...
anyway, welcome to citynoise... im always psyched to see new nyc photos and places!

Yes, good choice to settle on citynoise, the site where others like you are willing to forgo warmth and regularity of existence for a great shot of city.
I'm just glad we did not stop at Coney Island yesterday on the way to Barren Island, or we might have posted all the same photos!
Your first shots here are wonderful, and i look forward to seeing more.
I do hope that we can join up for an adventure sometime about the city or region...
