So they have these cool (both in color and looking) blue lights on the new bridge. They say they're temporary (not sure why) but they're saying they'll keep them blue if there's enough public support (not sure how you're supposed to tell them though.) This article has been viewed 1943 times in the last 28 months Rob: 18th Dec 2008 - 17:57 GMTThis reminds me of the lighting on the Zakim Bridge in Boston. http://en.structurae.de/files/photos/1922/zakim/zakim_bridge.jpg Normally it's lit in blue, but they change it depending on the holiday, or other occasions. Green on St. Patricks day, Red, white and blue on the patriotic holidays, etc. :) Is it necessary? No. But is it cool asthetically? Yes. I thnkn more city's could use a bit of an artistic touch like that. jack: 23rd Dec 2008 - 14:04 GMTi passed by the site last month. the new bridge is beautiful. i think in the future we will see many new and beautiful bridges being built.
