At this stop the train was just coming up from below the street, and you'd be right at street level, the rest of the stops the train gradually became elevated. The only stop like this on this line.

Good point! I get off there to go to Brooklyn College, and never noticed that.

But there is that little scoop-out passage underneath the train, so its almost elevated.

I adore those mariachi men. They always used to brighten my day when I lived out in Midwood and took the Q/B.
