If I Am What I Eat then I Want to Be Fresh and Local

I know at least my fellow vegetarians and vegans will appreciate this entry. Below is the quiet, delicious city noise growing in my backyard. I buy my plants at the Farmer's Market each spring and plant them, dreaming of superior vegetable harvest months later. Wandering into a garden and taking a fresh, warm sweet million (cherry type) tomato is a yummy summer perk.

Any city dwellers who would like to grow gardens and don't have a yard to use; even if you have just a balcony - you too can grow vegetables! I know from experience that lettuce and cherry-type tomatoes grow well in planters.
