Damn, I never saw a single horsey when I was in Philly!

Joann from Boston, MA: 14th Sep 2008 - 14:03 GMT

I saw them come galloping through the night streets in Philly. African American cowboys!?! I thought I was hallucinating. I could not believe my eyes. And then, my friend, a native Philadelphian said, "Oh yeah, they are the Black Cowboys." She spoke as if it were an everyday (night) occurance. And, it is!

I've been tryn to find black owned shooting ranges for my family & i, also wanting to learn the outdoor sporting. Every thing i see or web-site i check into is white owned."which after tirelessly searching "my family & I now have our basic pistol safety, but tryn to find a non biased shooting range is very hard.you can feel your really, really not welcomed, but barely tollerated only because you paid for lessons.so i've been searching for black shooting ranges, target practice, black cowboys with the hopes of finding links i am looking for, but can't find S---! Everything i find is geared for white folks & family. Don't we have anyhting like this for black folks & families as well who want to learn about the outdoor sports/events? hell i'm still tryn to find a reasonable and comfortable place for my family & i to get more shooting lessons in or near philly. Any help would be very appreciated,Thankx for your time.2/5/2011
