Browsing articles by EvilGentleman - [previous] :: [next]I found this buff in progress at the McDonald's in the Montreal suburb of Dorval, while sitting in the parking lot munching on my breakfast. The wooden wall around their garbage dumpster had gotten tagged recently.

Peter: 24th Jun 2008 - 23:51 GMTi know, right? hahahaha. go go mickey d's... im sure they thought the pressure-washer would blow it right off, but anyone uninformed enough to use one of those on wood deserves to learn the hard way, i guess. something to do, though... it seems there are people out there that have the same level of passion for buffing as the writers do for bombing... EvilGentleman: 25th Jun 2008 - 01:10 GMTHehe, it kept their maintenance guy busy for two days. The last two photos were taken thru my rear view mirror because he saw me taking the 5th pic and started glaring at me like he wanted to fight. The first day, I was trying to take pics while going thru the drive-thru, but I was inadvertently parked on the hose feeding his pressure washer, and he started yelling at me in what sounded like mixed French and Spanish, because his pressure washer had suddenly turned into a water pistol. Peter: 25th Jun 2008 - 01:24 GMTi noticed the rear-view shots; nice technique. they threw me at first as everything wasnt in reverse. tricky! i love these little series that are borne from the everyday banal stuff... whether it be passing through a drive-thru or a graffiti timelapse or whatnot... as more and more content shows up here to document our respective cities as a whole, all their landmarks, neighborhoods, photogenic spots and quirky spots, ive been really enoying these suble hyperfocused posts more than usual, these little random bits that add some variety of character to the neighborhoods... oh, also... looks like that tag reads "speck". ill have to google the writer and see how many other mcdonald's hes hit, heh... EvilGentleman: 25th Jun 2008 - 01:52 GMTI was wondering what it said. I am so useless when it comes to reading graf. Unless some goof like me decides to tag everything in Times New Roman or Arial... And speaking of graffiti timelapses, I have a few collections of graf photos that I took in the last couple of years that I never got around to posting. I should revisit those places and see what I find. And my train graf photo collection is getting pretty large...
