Peter: creeeeeeepy, hahahahaha.

procyon: awesome.

Jamie: 23rd Jun 2008 - 20:40 GMT

This is awesome. Question though, as the architecture doesn't give too much away. Is this London or New York?

zagg: 23rd Jun 2008 - 21:01 GMT

a) I love the visable texture of the pole
b) dude, so creepy

luna park: i'd like to see those wee models.

Peter: 23rd Jun 2008 - 23:52 GMT

seconded on the models.

the bar-less windows, green lamp-post and lack of any other graf/tape/mark whatsoever on the pole make me think def not nyc, heh...

luna park: 24th Jun 2008 - 02:45 GMT

not to mention what new yorker uses the word wee (except to refer to something little dogs and small children do)?

zagg: 24th Jun 2008 - 03:16 GMT

That is definetely British handwriting, without a wee doubt.

g: Edinburgh maybe?

Jamie: 24th Jun 2008 - 12:43 GMT

Well, that's what i thought immediately after I made my comment. "Wee" is quite a / thing to say and those windows look ever so Scottish also.

Curiosity got the better of me. It's and the work of an artist named . www.davidshrigley.com/photo_htmpgs/notice.html.

shizen, could it be the sadist, 'lockinglear decrebided' he was in southern france and would take pictures of people and reproduced them onto models and used them for, (you know what) they were life size and like rubbery dolls so he could lay on them and kiss them, he dressed them and undressed them, i believe he married one of them and killed another. he has a village of them, almost 2 thousand people and is trying to bring them to life and wants to reign over them like a king, this could all be the result of an over active imagination of mine and others but he is out there, lurking around, watching and luring unsuspecting people like you and me into his village, watch out! be aware! oh no, oh no, i think he's in brooklyn now, near 4th avenue, near bushwick, taking pictures,,,,,,,,,,

Is that true Jack? Or have you been out buying yourself a and gotten a little bit over-excited?

jack: 24th Jun 2008 - 17:04 GMT

can't get overexcited over a plastic doll, it's the real dolls that i look at ONLY and keep my mind on my wife and family, but a lot of men my age enjoy looking at lovely girls, its a great passtime and we don't get into trouble.

This is in Glasgow's west end. It was a regular thing for a while. I used to walk past it on the way to work. Loved it. One message read "Stay still so that I can fashion your likeness in plaster".
