Peter, are you starting a partial signage series?

Peter: 17th Jun 2008 - 14:19 GMT

hahahaha, perhaps inadvertently so! hmm, now ill have to keep my eyes peeled for more...

Jamie: 17th Jun 2008 - 14:56 GMT

I think you'll find it hard to top '', so to speak.

Peter: 17th Jun 2008 - 15:04 GMT

you have a point, though youd be surprised how many anal-themed photos ive snapped around ... enough to make a series, thats for sure, hahaha...

I remember as a child in 1980, sitting in an Ocala, Florida parking lot with my dad while my mother shopped in a _HOPPING ___TER.

We have made random "hopping ter" jokes ever since.

And Jamie is right. Guess I better add a tag to the comments in order to make sure that people can find it.

Although as founding father of citynoise, you do have the ability to edit an article...

there's a "joseph m. gallagher middle school" in my neighborhood that is home to a particularly humorous piece of partial signage.

the last two letters of the first name have fallen, leaving the interesting puerto rican/irish combination: "jose m. gallagher middle school".

Jamie: I'm always right. And modest too.

there was an old boarded up movie theater near my house growing up whose marquee read "FOR N C LL" followed by some numbers. I don't know why, but for the longest time I assumed the last movie to play at that theater was something like "Foreign Collision." Years later I figured out the sign actually said "For Info Call"

Peter: 18th Jun 2008 - 17:56 GMT

when i was growing up, we frequently drove past "ort ark H ital" and "ed Foo S or"##... lol...

ok, i think its time to start up the series, so keep your eyes peeled, people...
