Wedgie!!!
[previous] :: [next]
I was walking along St Antoine yesterday and the god-awful grinding noise I heard turned out to be this tractor-trailer firmly wedged under a bridge. Based on the damage, he must have tried going backwards and forwards to get unstuck. I managed to slink behind the girders and get in a few good shots, irate truck-driver notwithstanding. This article has been viewed 1190 times in the last 10 months EvilGentleman: 7th May 2008 - 14:44 GMTLet hear it for slinking! I am reminded of this post by jack. Nice one. Joey, the problem with the height signs is, they are all metric here. I have no clue how many centimeters tall I am, and if I was driving a truck, it would be worse. And of course, this being Montreal, half the signs are probably inaccurate, since most of our overpasses seem to be sagging. CE: 7th May 2008 - 20:14 GMTI would assume, however, even if you don't know metric you would know how many metres tall your truck is. EvilGentleman: 7th May 2008 - 23:54 GMTHehe, it is at this point, CE, that our age differences truly begin to show. Neath: 5th Jun 2008 - 00:06 GMTIt should all be standard North American sizes for the trailer. Maybe some sag and some bad signage but you just have to feel that something is wrong. Driver's fault all the way! Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
