Bushwick has a sleepier southern side. Come walk its fringes. The historic houses lining these leafy streets date from a late 19th century real estate boom. We'll be taking in Bushwicks more distant past, including the Irving Square Park area, as well as Trinity Cemetery, where almost every gravestone is cast from metal. This eye-opening stroll combines topography, economics, and history. A major focus is to discuss the need for historic preservation in this rapidly changing community.

t'aint so, my friend. Though, he did ramble round these parts back in the day, part of the F & R gang. He is buried in St. John's Cemetery, on the other side of the hill in Queens.

That cemetery is a weird cemetery,every thing is made from metal but very cool when you see it for yourself.
