I'm looking for the GM assembly plant in Oakland CA that might have assembled my 1956 chevrolet. Can you help me out?

Chevy Guy: 27th Apr 2009 - 16:31 GMT

Chevrolet Motor Division had an assembly plant on 73th Ave from the 1920's to 1963. The plant was then closed and relocated to Fremont, CA and became a BOP Plant in the fall of 1963. The old Chevrolet plant was replaced by the Eastmont Mall in the following years. I started work at the 73th Ave plant in December 1962

GMC Guy: 3rd Dec 2009 - 21:43 GMT

To Chevy Guy
Do you have any pictures of the plant at 73rd and Foothill, and did they assemble trucks threr?
