The bucket sign is getting harder and harder to find these days, as well. This one may be rusty, but at least it still stands.

EvilGentleman - I just so happened to snap this one on Avenue Papineau in the Plateau. I love the old sign though...it's like the ones you'll find in small-town U.S.A. that still say "Kentucky Fried Chicken". My uncle worked at one in the 80's and I still have his hat that he gave me.

LOL, small world, isn't it? I should replay the videos my wife shot as we passed through Philly, see if I can find a KFC in there that I can capture and post, hehe.

i don't think i've ever seen a bucket, they would steel it in brooklyn and use it to wash their cars in.

jack: 2nd Mar 2008 - 15:12 GMT

holy shit!!!!i just thought of a great idea, make a giant bucket that is collapsible, and use it to wash cars in. i could use some financial backing on this and we can use it to advertise different products, this folks is a million dollar idea, anyone interested, of course we would have to donate some cash to our favorite playpen, 'citynoise' it was here that i became inspired and this is probably better than flicker anyway, ooops, did i say 'flicker' sorry boys my mind is off today.

jack, I'm not 100% what it is you were drinking when you made those comments, but you really should share some with me!

anonymous: 3rd Mar 2008 - 17:19 GMT

As someone who has enjoyed the tangential nature of Jack's comments for quite some time, I can't help but wonder if it is not so much what he has been drinking as much as it is what he has been smoking ;-)

EvilGentleman: 3rd Mar 2008 - 17:28 GMT

Hmmmm, now that I think about it, I believe that a KFC sign bucket would make a really cool hot tub.

A friend and I visited this abandoned building last summer. He had been there before, but only at night, so we decided to get a better look. I took my 35mm (sorry about the scans, but I swear...
