Montreal from the Aldred Building

Last spring, my friend and I ventured to one of the top floors of the Aldred Building, a 23 story Art Deco skyscraper built in 1931. This is what we saw.
Looking east. The Jacque Cartier Bridge can be seen in the distance.
Looking north east. Chinatown can be seen in the centre of the photo as well as the exit of the tunnel of the Ville-Marie Autoroute.
Looking north west towards the Downtown business district with Mont-Royal looking over it.
View looking directly down towards rue St-Urbain. The roof of the Palais des congrès can be seen in the centre.
The Aldred Building from outside taken a couple days later from the steps of the Notre-Dame Basilica.

those are some exciting rooftop shots. i would call the alfred building a 'superman' building. one that superman could leap over in a single bound.

Cool lookin' building, the Art Deco style of the 1930's is one of my favorite forms of architecture., is there a public observation deck at the top?
