This are the remnants of the Gardiner Expressway east of Don River. It was demolished in 2001 due to high maintenance costs.
On to Tommy Thompson Park, the northern section of Outer Harbour East Headland, most commonly known as Leslie Spit.

After attempting to take some side streets to see if there was any life that wasn't right by the highway I decided to just go back on the boardwalk.
