This are the remnants of the Gardiner Expressway east of Don River. It was demolished in 2001 due to high maintenance costs.

I remember riding my bike on the boardwalk and coming up to that intersection. It's really a bland area. After attempting to take some side streets to see if there was any life that wasn't right by the highway I decided to just go back on the boardwalk.
