wish i was in ny to buy my xmas gifts there. great recommendation.

i was living in east harlem a while back and passed by a couple different botanicas every day. unfortunately, i never went inside for fear that i would offend the owner/"real" customers. i guess it was dumb of me to allow my sense of political correctness to scare me away from something so fascinating...

Back when I lived in Ft. Lauderdale, I did two years of Botanica-only Xmas gifting. It was appreciated by all, especially the Buddha statues.

I am glad this article was writing, but the statement "This is one religious store but its one that brings in all kinds of believers African Americans. Why is it such a suprise that African Americans are in this store. Please check your history and you will see it is not a suprise at all.

I am a client at this botanica. When ever i have a problem i always go to her. She is great. I had problems with my boyfreind and money and after she did some work everything fell in place. Trust in her and have faith that everything she does will work and it will.

I know that many people dont know where to go cause they dont know if they are going to be taken for there money. I was one that went to other places and they did do that. But i ended up going and meeting with Adriana and as soon as i meet her i knew i was in the right place. She was not there to take my money it was a good price for what she did for me and it worked. I still go to her and speak to her about my problem and she helps me. They have evrything there. She is great im writing this cause if you are lost, have love problem, money problems this is the place to go. Adriana is there 7 days out the week and is always helpful and you can call she is a sweet lady.

Hello all...I wish we had Botanica stores like this one in New York. We have spiritual shops here in Toronto Canada but nothing like this store or other ones I have read about. I need to take a trip to NYC...I haven't been in years....is there any other stores there like in Queens or Brooklyn that someone could recommend that is reputable
