Peter: 3rd Dec 2007 - 15:35 GMTnice shots! whats the story with the heavy riot-cop presence? those busses and crazy yellow armored-car look sort of foreboding... was there some sort of event happening? chiamattt: 3rd Dec 2007 - 21:34 GMTnah, I was at the bookstore near the U.S Embassy. The presence I captured is pretty normal. It's when the dudes are walking in formations of 20 - 50 that you know something is up. chiamattt: 3rd Dec 2007 - 21:52 GMT
this is what the route of my walk looked like. I started at about 2pm and finished at about 5pm. The read boxed area is a high police-bus presence area as its the area that has city hall, the U.S embassy, the Japanese Embassy, and various other government buildings that people like to gather around and protest. The "I dream all day" cup has a candle in it--leftover from one of Seoul's many candlelight vigils. Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
