Accident at the QEW
[previous] :: [next]November 25, 2007. We were driving to the surprise 50th birthday party of friends of mine (husband and wife) in Hamilton when all of a sudden, sirens of emergency vehicles were heard wailing in the background. This was at about 11:00 AM. I thought that I'd miss the party but we were delayed only by a few minutes when vehicles were giving way to these emergency vehicles. I had my camera ready when passed by the accident scene but traffic was normal at this time and going 100 km/hr was more than what my camera wanted and the objects being so close (we were on the outer lane), so the pictures are so fuzzy. Of course, the dirty windshield also contributed.

GGP: 27th Nov 2007 - 20:19 GMTgood pictures. two weeks ago my partner and i were driving late at night on the NY Thruway and came upon an accident scene right out of a david lynch film: overturned truck--a big one--and a man in striped stockings, a clown wig, and full clown makeup, being interviewed by a police officer. It was dark and dreamy, and we were practically upon the truck before we even realized it was there.
