This article has been viewed 2185 times in the last 29 months Peter: 5th Nov 2007 - 16:34 GMTheh, i know exactly where some of those shots were taken... i used to work up in washington heights, and commuted home to midtown by bike every day, and often took the scenic route through that neighborhood to check out the copious murals... nice score on the old de la vega mural, too. in case you havent heard of him, hes an interesting character in the harlem graffiti/mural scene (or at least was in the past)... and is (was?) responsible for the once ubiquitous thought-provoking chalk sidewalk-drawings you used to see all over town in the mid-late 90s... more here: Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
