Graffiti in the Hammer
[previous] :: [next]
Here are some photos of graffiti in Hamilton, Ontario. Most of the graf is from KTA, MVP, NAV Crew, Poke, Relic, Cosmo and the generally disliked Chillen and Belio, who tag anything and everything with crude tags, messy spray and the use of supersoakers with paint and acid-etch, used to frost windows. The police are currently looking for them, so far they have managed to damage $35,000 worth of bus shelters and busses...

Don worry bout it : 27th Jun 2008 - 01:39 GMTYo lookout for ''thin'' hes everywere i was in the car and saw his shit everwhere, whats up with segr i see him on the highway but his stuff isn't too good , not saying that it is bad , but it needs some style to it. Spryo is pretty good too. Whatever happened to spin i used to see him everywhere and now im not seein much of his stuff,''mensr'' is gettin super good i see his stuff around the upper gage area and its pretty dece. Pez is getting really good too. Everyone should also look out for havik, and fixers there sick, they got some really sick pieces that are at the train tracks in dundas and the halfpipe on the bruce trail. xTRAKx: 28th Jun 2008 - 20:03 GMTyou kids need to keep up, practice, rember: BNPC-: 5th Jul 2008 - 21:37 GMTPez to bad they coverd up your shit up on the back of hamilton builder supply off the linc. Trupaz-: 5th Jul 2008 - 21:40 GMTHas anyone seen that huge spin tag on the 403 towards branford near wilson street exit. fucking sick. Dusty : 19th Aug 2008 - 04:44 GMTHey all, that's some great work. This is gonna sound odd, but my church needs a good street artist for a project they're doing for hamilton kids. Nobody has to admit to anything, but if you or someone you know has the ~ability~ to do sweet street art like that, go to Living Hope church at the corner of Garth and Limeridge and just tell them you can do good graffiti. Anyone is welcome, but they're looking for good work. Again I stress, nobody gives a shit if you've painted public property, nobody will condemn you. They'll just be really, REALLY excited somebody can paint for them!!! RiCH1: 20th Aug 2008 - 20:46 GMTSPIN........whoever you are.......you killed that shit on the 'Rock', sun!.....Rock On! Ya gotta turn yer head kids, to peep that one out.....right at the bottom of the escarpment waterfall on the 401 into the Hammer! Big, Beautiful colour.....Gotta love it! SPIN BIEN PPLS PAC CHILLEN BELIO GOD! KTA AA ENUR.......Big Upz from Bunkfords Finest!......On a side note, as a fellow writer and mad tagger, I must say, the Hammer's tagging scene has gotten way outta hand! There are fucking tags on peoples garages for fucks sake! My friends car got stencilled 'Wetspots' in red on her brand new white Honda Accord! I understand that most of it is kids fucking around, but still.....its now retarded, and makes the shitty Hammer, ever shittier! I truly appreciate REAL GRAFFITI WRITERZ, who apply thought and colour to these dank grey prison walls! Imagine if every highway underpass, or shitty green/brown highway sound barrier, had a bright colourful piece of artwork. There are spots where there should be graffiti, and spots where there shouldn't....and grey mail and hydro boxes are places where there should be...lol! Either way, if yer just starting, BE CREATIVE WITH YER TAGNAME (if I see one more faggy 'killer' or 'master' tag, I'm gonna snap!)DRAW YER ASS OFF EVERYDAY, GET YER DESIGN AND COLOUR RIGHT BEFORE YOU LAY PAINT! Always roll in pairs, and make sure yer fat spotter can run, just in case!!! Keep Bombin!
Rave: 24th Aug 2008 - 16:40 GMTI dont spray much yet, But I plan to in the future. For that these guys will inspire me, alot from KTA, TYG and all the whole crew. You've probably seen "Rave" in buses and shelters ect. Chillen and Belio are beefin you, And i hope they catch you as much as I do :) Rave: 24th Aug 2008 - 16:45 GMTAlso, Thin and Pez are pretty chillen (Y) same with Shade. Up's for them FUCK YOU KEENUR. birdy: 31st Aug 2008 - 02:45 GMTyo man, pac has to be my favourite artist, and lately i have seen some more of his peices that just blew me away and made me want to keep painting and get better. Pez, thin, spin, and lowf are some other good artists. I also havent seen a chillen or belio peice but i love their tags. theTruth.: 14th Sep 2008 - 16:16 GMTword. Pac's tags are fucken nice. Theres a couple you missed in the pics, On the back of Hamilton Mountain Bowl he tagged 3 bowling pins with PAC next to them. Also above Big B Comics on Upper James he hit up the wall on top of the building. i see it everytime im merging onto the linc going to mud street. love his work, im a up and comer and been doin my thing for a couple years. shit like that inspires me. where did he come up with the tag PAC any ways? Anon: 16th Sep 2008 - 19:37 GMTPac's original nick name was "PacMAN" but later changed to pac. KTA is a crew, not a person. It consists of a few good friends of mine, PAC, LOWF, HAVIK, GNAR, SYGLE, MOD and a few others. I've been watching them all progress over the years and if you were to compare even 2 years ago to some of the stuff now, the stuff from before would look like scribble and complete garbage, it just goes to show that practice does make perfect. I've seen all of their sketchbooks and some of the shit in there would blow your guys' minds. Trupaz-: 20th Sep 2008 - 20:50 GMTPacs pretty good but i think that SPIN is kicking some ass. it seems like every week he has a new an amazing tag around town. keep it up mah fucka. ppls [previous] :: [next] |
