New York City graffiti trains were the 80s. Today these kids paint the stainless steel trains just for a picture!! The trains dont even move out of the spot they were painted because they say it will influence more vandals.
Back in the days you just got a ticket and a slap for painting. Today they are putting kids away for years. Personally I feel like they should focus more on real crimes that are a priority like drugs and killings! With that in mind i say if the kids had a place to paint and were praised for the talents they wouldnt do thos things.

The best 21 years of my subway riding life. I remember as a kid on the Nostrand line they would paint them white to combat graffiti.
The straphangers, doors that went poof when closing and flickering lights everything it hit a gao in the third rail. They were not shitty just merely rough riders made of US steel.

When the R32-R42 is gone that will mean the end of trains with a rail fan window, when the R44-R46 is gone so will the era of America trains.

Fred M Pohl: 6th Apr 2009 - 23:11 GMT
