I feel the east end doesn't get much attention, so here is a shot from the train yards near Ste-catherine and Frontenac. (I believe) Seen in the background the big O.

if i were standing in the middle of that pic and a train was coming i wouldn't know where to run, but what is the big O.

Cinic: 26th Jul 2007 - 14:38 GMT

the big o is the Olympic stadium from the 1976 Montreal Olympic games. It has been a huge problem for years. Basically its falling apart and Mtlers just finished paying it off like 2 years ago. Its falling apart because much of its concrete was looted during construction. I have some closer pictures, ill try to post them. Notable features, highest inclined structure in the world, (if that still stands) what an achievement (sarcastic)
