Also, the dam created a manmade lake if my reading is correct. Villages were submerged and people were relocated. Crazy to think about that happening anywhere but China. Three Gorges Love! KPie: 9th Sep 2007 - 00:56 GMTI lived in the area (Je Cheon) during the construction 1984. Got to know some people in one of the neighboring villages that was going to be under water.
