New York in Black and White:www.wirednewyork.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5010

I have been lingering on the above site a lot recently, steeping myself in the endless stream of nostalgia that NYC generates.

As with any present, its hard to find the romance, especially between the elbows of so many millions of others.

So I bounded out of my bed at 4AM the other day. Partly, it was to catch the sleepiest hours of the Bang on a Can marathon at the Winter Garden.

But really, I wanted to see the city without so many damn people.
