It brought back great memories. liam.don8: 6th Mar 2010 - 22:37 GMTI look at these photo's and feel shame and regret (and yes angry) at the way the fine people of Possilpark were treated by Glasgow City Council. All the homes, streets and byways were badly neglected and at the end most homes and streets were nothing more than hovels and we paid rent for them. While I feel this way (I'm sure many others do the same) the Council should hang their collective heads in abject shame. sarahwongx: 6th Mar 2010 - 22:42 GMTAye too bloody right when I think of Ma n Da trying bring us up in that hoose it makes ma blood boil ohhhhhh jimmags: 6th Jul 2010 - 18:13 GMTpossilpark was a good place at one time sadly .lots of good memories .does anyone remember the askit on saracen st irene smith: 12th Jul 2010 - 15:27 GMTi worked in the askit for seven years sat beside ann malloy my mate was jannete farrel istayed in stoneyhhust st used to hang about sarcen cross at night with davie knox alex aitkin that was in the fifties jimmags: 13th Jul 2010 - 18:44 GMTI worked in the askit 1966 my sister 65 remember Willie maculloch'Johnny Bain christine stobie Esther Beattie Kathy Rogers We lived in Balglass st irene smith: 26th Jul 2010 - 11:38 GMTremember them well especialy wullie johnny ,esther i was there from 1956 to 1963 wonder how all those girls fared in life we all had such high hopes for the big romances ,in our lifes, wonder how many lasted over the years always remember going along sarcen st at teatime ,it would be mobbed , with the white horse workers the blind craftworkers, and us lot, happy days Askme: 26th Jul 2010 - 11:47 GMTAye a lot Askit got sold on the streets as well, bet it was a decent place till the scourge of Drugs took over and Possil got turned into the Window shop for Glasgows drug scene. irene smith: 27th Jul 2010 - 12:40 GMTi was brought up on stoneyhurst st in the 50 it was a diffrant world to what it is now,we never knew what drugs where our worse crime was trying to hide the fact that we smoked, from our mothers jimmags: 3rd Aug 2010 - 18:13 GMTWhat i remember about possil is the cross the shops on saracen st the shows at the mosshouse when you could get the money john watson: 30th Aug 2010 - 23:03 GMTgreat photos i was brought up in carbeth st 1945 to 1963 times have changed my old house gone i stayed above mccaffertys shop top landing cheers johnwatson margaret forrester: 10th Nov 2010 - 17:07 GMTborn in appleby st worked in white horse 1968 i had good times there and it was a good place to live in jimmags: 10th Nov 2010 - 18:42 GMTI remember Betty Ruane and Margaret Cuisack who worked in the white horse in the 60 'Betty lived at 26 Balglass st also up that close was mrs cowan Mr Mrs Scott Mr Mrs Henderson the Etherson's the Radcliffe's Does anyone remember any one else from balglass st jimmags: 8th Dec 2010 - 21:07 GMTAnyone remember the teacher,s at St Cuthbert,s round about 1959 to 1965 I remember the headie Mr Bailey anon (customer-209-99-234-37.millicom.com.ar): 1st May 2011 - 11:00 GMTI am a Girl and looking for a Man or looking for a Women?
