Exellent irony detection, making an excellent photo. maybetoday: 18th May 2007 - 02:19 GMTI looked for the history behind this building. The last word is cut off. It used to be "Someone Cares Mission." The Mission is now further north in the same neighborhood. The building, already neglected, was hit hard by one of St. Louis' largest storms in recorded history which hit us in April 2006. Garry Johnson: 28th Sep 2007 - 12:27 GMTI know that this building was givin by a Monsenior in the catholic organization because of a need for four people to have a place to practice as a gospel singing group. We had so many people stoping to hear that we rehabed the place and invited them in.They kept coming and we kept growing into a mission, reaching out to those in need. I know,I am a cofounder of four with someone cares mission. Daniel Robert Tobey III: 9th Nov 2009 - 18:53 GMTI grew up with my grandparents Peggy and Rev. Dan Tobey two house left of that mission.
