A Quick Glimpse of Christ Church Cathedral
[previous] :: [next]Downtown on Sainte-Catherine Street sits Christ Church Cathedral. A landmark of note and fame, with the KPMG Tower built in its backyard, Christ Church Cathedral is the seat of the Anglican diocese of Montreal. The church was built in a quiet area in 1859, and now lies in the center of downtown, between Eaton Centre and The Bay. There is a shopping mall that was built under the church in the 1980's called Les Promenades de la Cathedrale.
