Fog and a Streetlamp

- ghost of grandin - Thursday, April 5th, 2007 : goo

I know most people won't think this is anything special, but I thought it was downright awesome. I was filled with awe the entire time I watched this tree.

It was just foggy enough to be creepy, and the lamp was just buzzing like a bee's nest the entire time. While I took the photo, I expected the entire tree to burst into flames, it was just that kind of night.

man i used to live in selden, and it was never all spooky and stuff. so g.o.g., did you go to patchogue-medford?

ghost of grandin: indeed i did, iman.

iman: 5th Apr 2007 - 21:59 GMT

that's cool. i just moved to brooklyn 3 months ago, and my parents keep saying that we're moving to nc. i'm gonna miss long island.

little ukraine: 6th Apr 2007 - 14:10 GMT

ah, the great migration, li to nc. your parents would not be the first. stay in bk.

firecraker: 6th Apr 2007 - 14:28 GMT

Where did the name "ghost of grandin" come from? That is my last name. Answer at grandin10@mchsi.com

ghost of grandin: 11th Mar 2008 - 02:22 GMT

elmer grandin was one of the most famous residents of patchogue, my home town. of course, it doesn't take much to be famous in patchogue -- he was a broadway star and was unfortunate enough to have his corpse dug up and brought to a halloween party about 4 years ago. i didn't have anything to do with the grave diggin'.
