[previous] :: [next]I am really unsure if I have labeled this one correctly... 1936 Chevrolet two-door sedan
This article has been viewed 3762 times in the last 3 years jack: 5th Mar 2007 - 14:52 GMTyou could be correct evil, in the beginning of the 40's they made the front of the cars longer. but i'm kinda partial to a 36 cord convertible.
jb: 23rd Feb 2008 - 15:00 GMTThis look's like a '36, but the top has been chop and the headlights lowered. The last pic is not the same car. Dash looks more like a Ford. EvilGentleman: 23rd Feb 2008 - 15:16 GMTjb, I just looked at the pictures, and you seem to be right. I accidentally put a pic of a different car on this page. Sorry about that. Mind you, I never said I was an expert on vintage cars... Thanks for the info. Ken: 15th Apr 2008 - 21:29 GMTNICE! I love hot rods, had a '32 Ford roadster years back, sold it to get my dream car a '64 Mercury Marauder Walter: 9th Dec 2008 - 18:24 GMTDame mate one very nice car ... i myself are busy building one as well same year and well having loads of crap with not finding stuff for the car as i am in south africa .... but tx for giving me hope that my car might be as good looking as urs walter : 9th Dec 2008 - 18:27 GMTOh! and for the record it is a 36 2 door coach/standard as the car has a diff name in each country Mike: 26th Mar 2009 - 03:24 GMTHey there guys! Mike: 26th Mar 2009 - 03:27 GMTMe again, just to let you know the last picture is a 36 ford that use to belong to my friend JO.sold it and made himself a 41 Willis big block very nice it's at CCR now being worked on. EvilGentleman: 29th Mar 2009 - 21:20 GMTNice car, Mike! Thanks for commenting here. I guess the customization is why I had such a hard time identifying the car. Glad you kept the original hood ornament or I would have gone insane! Mind you, I am no expert on cars. I just see cars like yours and I know I like them. Aside from that, I get somewhat lost... As for the pictures, if you feel like it, you can add pictures in with a comment. Just remember to reduce their size first. Or if you prefer, you can post your own article on citynoise. I know everyone would love to see your photos of all the old cars you have seen and/or owned. I imagine you could wind up with a very popular series of posts. Indiana John: 10th Oct 2009 - 21:14 GMTThis is a 1936 Chevy Master. they also made a Standard, it had no trunk lid, The back seat folded forward to access the storage area. The standard also had leaf springs up front, where the Master had Knee Action Suspension. That shot of the dash is not the same car, it has roll bars. The view through the rear window shows the right dash. Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
