I've Lived in Crown Heights for Just About Fifteen Days

I recently started subletting a place in Brooklyn, and though I haven't had all that much time to explore the area, I love what I've seen so far...

yeah, thats brooklyn, in all its majesty, in its timeless grace, the old structure and new people, buildings can tell some stories, i remember this area from my times as a child on the rooftops. my uncle lived in that area and we would go there on ocasion to visit and each time we went to the roof to take pics and i have one so perhaps i will scan it and let you see what it was like.

Wow, parts of Brooklyn look so amazing. I remember the last time I was there riding the subway around, it was so cool looking down the streets from the elevated sections at the rowhouses. I can't wait to visit NYC again over spring break, I'm staying in Queens, and I really want to ride my bike around the outer boroughs a lot more this time and check out some of the neightborhoods at ground level.

you can tell you're living in a good neighborhood if there are a bunch of family vans parked on the street outside your house

GGP: welcome to the neighborhood!

A Building of Many Uses

I walk by this building all the time on my way to the university but never really think of it. This odd shaped building has quite a mix of businesses in it including a vacuum shop, a trophy store...
