An Intro to Me and My Country

I will start off by introducing myself, My name is patently obvious, I am a 41 year old man, married happily for 15 years, Have two young uns that vary from being absolute angels to being the bane of my life. I was born not far from where I am typing this. I have lived in many places in my lifetime including a little island with pretensions of being a superpower. When Tony extracts himself from Georges nether regions maybe again. Mind you, I doubt that.

I live in paradise, Hisory goes back 3,500 000 000 years. Near to here about 30 miles or so is the cradle of life. Fossils have been discovered of the first oxygen breathing organism, way before man there was life right here. History of man starts a little later and then came the colonists. I must admit I am ashamed of my forbears. If it moved they shot it, If it didn't they probably kicked it till it moved and then shot it. I got told tales of herds of buffalo that moved across the plains with no end in sight. I got told tales of Ivory hunters loading oxwagons with Ivory and burying more to fetch later. The greed was astounding. For those that believe this is where God himself vacations.

Africa is a glorious place with the majority of the worlds wildlife gracing our beloved bushveld. We have the big 5, Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhino. We have the lesser beasts starting with the Hippo, Cheetah, We have mans cousins the Apes and babboons. The scenery varies from plains to mountains where echoing crags resound. We have waterfalls, rapids, Canyons to beat all others. My Citynoise will always contain pictures of beauty, pictures of desolation, some just stuff that grabbed my fancy. I am not a professional photographer so some of my images may not be as good but I will proudly post them
