Fountain Baths is the oldest and longest operationally active guest house in Mpumalanga. In 1884 this was the source of a bath for men like Harry Barber, a place to rest the weary head after a month or two of prospecting. What you are seeing here is the first swimming pool in the old transvaal, then and now.
