jack: nice peter, 'I' give you a big 'A'.

jeeff: that would be a good name for a band.

Charlie's Son: 13th Mar 2009 - 18:49 GMT

That my Dad's store... I remember the long days and nights spent there. It is totally renovated now and looks a lot cleaner. I dont work there anymore, but I would love to have a place near there to open a new medical practice for cataracts and laser surgery. By the way... I still have the old letters from the sign.

Robert: 13th Aug 2009 - 15:03 GMT

Had to pass by that corner everyday to go to my old junior high (PS9)in Sterling Pl., near Vanderbilt Av. That was in 1959, I have a slight feeling of having been into that grocery store or bodega. There was a cafeteria or a diner, not far from that place that, to my surprise, offered fried grasshoppers.
It's nice to know that Charlie's Son still keeps the old letters from the sign. By any chance, are they the A and the I?
