Where's Columbus Circle

i was going to the circle and saw these manhattanites walking to wherever. some feel its chilly and some obviously do not. the speed limit on 10th avenue is 30 mph but these people are going faster.

image 16355

i was moving with traffic and let go of the steering wheel and snapped this angled pic. many fire escapes, but the newer structure does not have any.

image 16356

i see it, i see it..and the sea of humanity sweeps by my windshield as i sail towards the tall mast with christopher columbus on top and i can imagine him thinking, "but there was nothing here but wilderness"....

EvilGentleman: 1st May 2009 - 19:35 GMT

If anyone wants to kill this indigenous person, be warned: I may not cooperate.

Franny Wentzel: 1st May 2009 - 22:43 GMT

Oh... you have nothing to worry about. Here... have this nice comfy blanket...

EvilGentleman: 1st May 2009 - 23:36 GMT

I feel strange... Why are you wearing that mask? Do you have swine flu?

Labor Temple

Was digging around and found some old shots, this one's from 2004. Always liked this sign (from downtown Seattle) not sure why, I'm not zealously fond of labor although I do it, but the two words do have a certain...
