Liberal Bus

My days in were coming to a close and was therefore forced to make a day of biking around the city returning anything I borrowed/stole from friends.

After returning some cans of spray paint to a friend I decided to go home for some lunch. On my way, I saw a big red bus drive past with the name "Shawn Graham" glaring down at anyone who dared look at it. A provincial election had just kicked off and the politicians were on the road making to make sure we all voted for tweedle dum rather than tweedle dee.

Obviously, camera in hand, I followed the bus.

I biked after it for about six blocks until it started honking its horn and pulled up in front of the provincial legislature. A small crowd had gathered, mostly made up of the media and party faithful.

After a few moments, Shawn Graham himself exits the Opposition Party offices adjacent to the legislature. He was accompanied by his wife and I believe his mother.

He gave a short speech to the crowd and cameras. He made sure to make some promises he has no intention of keeping and ensured everyone knew that the premier, Benard Lord, was a bad, bad man.

He then boarded his ridiculously sized bus to go to for a couple nomintaion meetings and a family reunion in . He joked that the media wouldn't be following him to the family reunion. Haha, what a joker you are Shawn!

Photo-op time! A picture almost identical to this showed up in the newspapers the next day (minus the sun glare).

Shawn Graham won the election and is now premier of New Brunswick.

Now Broke

I saw this visitor from Ontario on Sainte-Catherine Street the other night. I find it ironic, since one must pay extra to get vanity plates.
