re: what kind of science: particle physics! something i've been doing for fun and profit for the past year, but my boss recently reminded me that I do intend to write a dual honors bachelor's thesis (physics/astrophysics and geophysical sciences) and should therefore find a job with a geosci professor, where i'm much more likely to find some research that will fulfill the requirements for both (so I don't [a] write two huge papers and then die or [b] graduate without honors in both majors, letting myself down on one of my major goals here).
