At the CNE: Butter Sculptures
[previous] :: [next]i'm really kicking myself for not getting better photos of these butter sculptures. it was definitely the weirdest thing i saw at the 2006 Canadian National Exhibition (CNE or "the Ex").
if you have more photos of these majestic works of art feel free to post them in the comments. This article has been viewed 1973 times in the last 2 years
EvilGentleman: 16th Sep 2006 - 01:49 GMTLucky buggers. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter is illegal in Quebec, like all yellow margarines are. chiamattt: 16th Sep 2006 - 11:31 GMTwhite margarine rules evil. It's hard to find in Toronto and just isn't as good as the quebec brands. EvilGentleman: 16th Sep 2006 - 16:24 GMTI was last at the CNE in 1981 at the age of 12, wonder how much has changed since then? jeeff: 16th Sep 2006 - 20:30 GMTmy guess: not much, altho this year a different company took over from the conklin bros. because they went out of business. jeeff: 16th Sep 2006 - 21:48 GMTif you look closely you can see the fishing line holding it up. also keep in mind the booth is refrigerated.
